85% Merlot/ 15% Cabernet Franc
Winemaking:
72 hour cold maceration for to extracr fat and obtain a
great color, then 10 days of fermentation followed by 30
days of maceration under the “marc” (Solids remain of the
grape after crushing) giving it a tannic structure and
bringing out the qualities of the wine.
Aged:
Aged 18 months in 80% new French Oak barrels, 10% in used
French Oak barrels, and 10% in cement tanks.
Color:
Crimson with vermilion and ruby reflections
Aroma:
On the nose, you get a complex of aromas of jammy red
fruits, with notes of violet and bourbon vanilla.
Taste:
On the palate, you get a well-balanced, unctuous and
generous wine. A touch ofviolet for a smooth finish on round
tannins.
